Jo Malone London Pine and Eucalyptus Candle

I always dreamed of owning a Jo Malone candle, but i was toing and froing about spending £45 on a candle. My parents headed to Jamaica last year, so they bought me one at dutyfree. I loved it that much, I have ended up buying another Jo Malone Christmas candle this year. I always believe you get what you pay for. Jo Malone is a luxury brand and their products, always come in a ribbon tied box.

Pine and eucalyptus candle, has that Christmas smell to it. The smell would make a good alternative, if you didn't want a real Christmas tree.

Christmas

My favourite thing at Christmas is picking a real tree (the tree I picked is the Norway spruce, from B&Q). Real trees have that Christmasy smell to them. I actually bought an artificial Christmas tree, when I moved into my house. Then I decided to celebrate my first year in my house, by getting a real tree. Ever since, I've always opted for a real tree.

Edinburgh Christmas

The things you see everyday, you take for granted. I remember visiting Hollywood for the first time and walking along the walk of fame, trying to spot all the celebrity names. The second visit to Hollywood, it's a different atmosphere. You spotted the first timer tourists, with their heads to the ground. I loved the shops in Hollywood and Beverly Hills, but I think after 4 visits I started to take the place for granted. It's been 10 years since I visited Hollywood and now it's a dream to go back.

I have went to New York every January, the last few years. (I won't be going to New York this January, as am hoping to go away somewhere different for my birthday.) My favourite thing to do in New York is taking a night walk, seeing all the Christmas decorations around the City. It made me think I never pay attention to the Christmas decorations in my own City, Edinburgh. After waiting in all day to get my washing machine fixed, I headed for a walk around town.

I walked around town trying to spot all the Christmassy things and snapped some photos.

This is Edinburgh at Christmas :

TGI Fridays Christmas Dinner

I find December the most depressing time of the year. Another year has went by and I've still not found the one. However my friend Stine (thatscottishnorwegiangirl) tagged me in a post on Facebook, that said the name "Danielle" will find the one in 2018. Saying that I get some of those silly online things saying "he's by your side, already".

The one thing I love about December, is Christmas dinners. Everywhere has Christmas inspired meals, this time of year. I headed to TGI Fridays at Fort Kinnaird and had the Christmas dinner.

I went to TGI Fridays last year, for Christmas dinner and they have a similar menu. I loved the Christmas meal last year, so I ended up getting the same.  The three course meal is £21.99, for a starter, main meal and dessert. There's also the option the buy the courses separately. If you buy the starter and main meal, the dessert is kind of free with the three course meal.

Starter
Jack's Christmas dinner sundae
Main meal
Sesame Jack Frost chicken strips with fries
Dessert
Warm apple and blackberry sundae

The drink I got was coke.

The best part my Mum was drinking and she can be so unpredictable, what she says with a drink. I said as a joke to my Mum "ask for the check". Americans will understand, as they call "the bill" a check. I looked down at my phone and next thing my Mum says "can we have the check ?" Haha I said to my Mum we are in the UK, not America.

Wetherspoon Christmas Dinner | Brie & Cranberry Vegetable Burger

It's that time of you, where everywhere you go has Christmas dinner inspired meals. I headed to The White Lady (Wetherspoon) with my Mum for dinner.

I ordered the brie and cranberry vegetable burger, which came with chips, onion rings and a drink. The drink I had was.... an Irn Bru. Everyone who knows me, knows I always go for Irn Bru. Irn Bru should give me a job. I do well, at advertising Irn Bru.

What can I say where else can you get Christmas dinner, with chips ? The vegetable burger is the burger on their main menu, but with breaded brie on top.

Tesco Beauty Haul

If you've never been into a Tesco beauty world store, it's totally worth visiting. The layout is like a department store, you could easily forget you're in a supermarket.

I went into Tesco Silverburn (Glasgow) for a look and managed to set of the security alarms, walking in with my Tiffany bag. Debenhams beauty products must set of the security alarm at Tesco, as it's happened a few times after visiting Debenhams.

I headed straight to the beauty department and picked up a few things.

Products I brought :

Faceinc brighten up sheet mask
Faceinc gilt tripper sheet mask
Faceinc 40 winks sheet mask
Nivea daily essentials moisture boost
L'Oréal Pure clay purity wash
Patisserie De Bain strawberry cheesecake hand cream

Tiffany & Co Eau De Parfum

Whenever I walk into the Tiffany Store I always spray the Tiffany perfume, then tell myself I have too many perfumes. I have always wanted to buy the Tiffany perfume, but I have perfumes I've bought still sealed in the packaging. My current favourite perfume, is Elizabeth and James Black. Elizabeth and James have brought out a range of perfumes, so I always buy the newest one when I fly to New York. Guilty to say they are still sealed, as I always roll back to the classic Black.

Debenhams a department store in the UK, had VAT free on all fragrance for Black Friday. The Tiffany perfume was £72 down to £59.99. I am a true believer if you buy Tiffany, it's got to be from the Tiffany Store or their website. However at that price and Debenhams have the Tiffany Blue bag. Act like you've been to Tiffany.

Ya'know Tiffany is worth it, as it's every girls dream. Now do I open it and use it now, save for a special day ? Special man ? Special what ?
