Then I spotted Glossier have a sun cream, so I thought if am going to buy the sun cream I might as well buy everything else I want.

It's my birthday here in Australia, I guess I can call it my birthday present from me.

My Holiday Handbag

The struggle traveling light going on holiday, is finding a bag that matches all your outfits. It doesn't always work, but you have to live do with what you have on holiday. I always bring a bag that's big enough to fit my phone and camera. I took my Dorothy Perkins bag (which I bought last year).

Here is inside my bag I took to New York :

Spare phone charger
2 spare camera batteries
MET map
Flight ticket
Metro card
Sheraton room cards
Nars lip pencil
Ray ban Sunglasses
Airport coupon leaflet

Packing Light | New York

One of the most stressful things of going away is packing. Am I the only person that has to double, triple and keep checking I have all plugs and chargers etc ?. It's like my mind is saying no, go and check again haha.

Am heading to New York City, famous for shopping. I try my best to travel light as possible, to have room for shopping. My trick is to put my empty hand luggage suitcase, inside my large suitcase.

The fun part of going away is picking up a few new things for your holiday. So here's my wee holiday haul :

Glitter dress :  £17.99
Spotted blouse : £17.99
Toms : £14.99
River Island
90's love top : £16
Black leggings : £6
Note book : £4
Makeup bag : £6
Purse : £4

I pack different colour leggings and light tops. Leggings are light and don't take up too much room in the suitcase. I've also packed a couple evening outfits to head out at night.

When it comes to packing for New York, I always say think smart shoes for going in posh shops in New York. The truth is when you are there, New Yorkers don't really care. I always walk around Manhattan with Tom shoes and my feet are killing me. This time am taking a pair of trainers.

First day outfit :
Victoria's Secret grey top
Jean leggings
Bomber jacket
Nike trainers
