Coloristiq Manicure Box Safari

When you hear of Coloristiq you automatically think of a monthly rental nail polish service. That's exactly what I thought when I got an email from them asking if I'd be interested in trying their new manicure box. Of course I said yes, as I'd heard so much about Coloristiq and it was a chance to try new nail polishes.

Coloristiq have started a brand new monthly box, similar to Glossybox and Birchbox, but there's no subscription. Each month is a different theme and only buy the box if you like the theme. It has a retail value of around £45. I like to buy makeup when it's on offer 3 for 2 or buy one get one half price, as Boots, Superdrug and Tesco do a lot of these deal, so some monthly boxes I've seen you can actually buy cheaper separately. Coloristiq is different it gives you the chance to try new brands. This month (August) theme is Safari, wild and funky colours.

There's a information card in the box and it says :
Manicure Box Safari
It's time for an adventure! August has arrived and we are bringing out the binoculars, sun hats and walking boots. This month's Manicure Box is made for wild ones, the feisty felines and spotted species. So try out some animal print nail art this month with a colourful twist. We can't wait to see the exotic patterns from leopard to zebra, giraffe to tiger. Show of your wild side and ROAR!

These are the nail polishes in the August box

Essie snake skin skin repstyle - Snake it up nail polish - RRP £9.99
Colour Club - Wild cactus nail polish - RRP £8.95
China glaze escape - Don't desert me nail polish -  RRP £8.95
OPI - In a holidaze nail polish - RRP £13.95
Zebra nail file - RRP £1.50

This is an amazing deal getting £43.34 of nail polishes for £15. I love Essie nail polishes, but I don't have the snake it up and I've wanted to try an OPI nail polish since I saw them in TK Maxx. The other nail polishes were new to me, but that's the whole fun in the monthly boxes, trying new brands. I love the colours especially the black and pink, they'd go well together if you're good with nail art.
