Lush cupcake face mask

I've never really had a chance to try a face mask before. My auntie used to give me face masks in with Christmas presents when I was a teen. One time I tried one and my mum would always walk in my bedroom when I lived when my parents and she was like what the heck is that ok your face and I never touched one since.

Now I have my own house it's nice to be able to do what I want. When I was last in Lush I saw they had a face mask called cupcake and thought I liked the sound of that. It didn't look the greatest, but smelt like chocolate. It's quite pricey at £6.50, but I thought it's not like am going to buy it all the time so it's a good price to just treat yourself.

It comes in a small black tub. I've never really done a face mask before, so I thought it only would do 1 mask since it's such a tiny tub. I think you'll get 2-3 masks, so it is fairly reasonable price. Also the tub says bring back 5 clean full sized Lush pots or tubes & and one fresh mask free.

The Lush website says :

Rhassoul mud, which is highly absorbent, works with cocoa powder to draw out all the dirt and impurities and give a deep cleanse. Fresh mint stimulates and tones the skin, whilst linseed and cocoa butter soften and moisturise. Smooth a generous layer of this mask onto your face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes.

Ingredients used :
Rhassoul mud, linseed infusion, gycerine, talc, fair trade organic cocoa butter, fresh mint, sandalwood oil, fair trade vanilla absolute, spearmint oil, peppermint oil, limonene and perfume

When you look at the face mask it actually looks like something else, but smells so nice chocolately, but with a mix of other smells so you can relate it to a cupcake smell.

When applying it on your face it's quite cold because the mask has to be kept in the fridge. I left it on for 20 mins, then washed it off. Normally I don't feel I look my best after working all day and refuse to take photos of myself on days I have work. I had a shower and really wanted to try this mask.

I do see the difference in how fresh my face looks after working all day and the chocolate smells so good. Who'd have thought chocolate can be good for you ?
