Soap and Glory Orangeasm Body Wash

The Soap and Glory Orangeasm you could easy say it wrong and it would sound wrong haha. I'd been wanting to buy this since it was new out, but had everything else I've wanted to try and only like buying them when it's 3 for 2 as it makes it more worth it. My auntie happened to give me it as a present.

Soap and Glory website says :

Our zesty-fresh and revitalising ORANGEASM™ Body Wash is scented with fresh green mandarin, Sicilian lemon and sweet orange peel oils.

With skin softening, moisture boosting properties and our exclusive MSUDS™ technology, TRIPLE TEA™ antioxidant complex, GINSENG and PINKPEPPERBERRY™, there's really nothing quite like it!

The body wash is a creamy orange colour. I was expecting a more strong orange smell, since it's called "Orangeasm" but the Orange is so light scented it's more of a mix of the lemon you can smell aswell.

I didn't feel the smell lasted long on my skin compared to the other Soap and Glory products I've used, but it's a nice smell if you want to enjoy the moment kind of thing.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Body Oil

Have you ever read the book Influence by Mary-Kate and Ashley ? They talk about what influences them, to me Mary-Kate and Ashley are my influence. I love everything they design and now they have been bringing out Elizabeth and James beauty products which are affordable I have been been able to buy the black and white versions of their products.

A few months ago I saw on the Elizabeth and James Instagram photos added from a PR event for new products coming out their body oil in June, their hand cream in July and dry shampoo in September. I saw a few bloggers post photos from the event, it would be a dream come true to be at an Elizabeth and James new product event. I know their events are most likely to be in America, but I don't care I'd be their if they ever invited me haha.

The Elizabeth and James body oil was added on the Sephora website while my parents were over visiting America, so I tweeted the Elizabeth and James Twitter asking if it's in store, but they said not until the end of June. Then my friend Elaine from work said she was going to New York so if the products are out when she's there she will try get them. The hand cream became available a week before Elaine went to New York so I kind of hoped I could get the hand cream aswell. My friend came back from New York the other day. she managed to get the new body oils, but not the hand cream. I've even tried buying the hand creams on the Sephora website, but every Elizabeth and James product comes up saying "this item can not be shipped to your location". Its frustrating as I want to buy every Elizabeth and James beauty product that comes out, but I guess I'd spend a fortune if we could ship to the UK.

So here are the new body oils :

The body oils come in the Elizabeth and James branded box. One thing I've noticed all the products have the same package design, just each product has a different shape box and small writing of the product name. In the photo on the Sephora website it looks like the body oils are in plastic bottles, but it's actually glass bottles which I think makes it look more luxury. It also has the brand name on the bottle "Elizabeth and James Nirvana" I think after the bottles are empty I'll keep them to display on my shelves, just because I love the design. I don't know is that bad ?

Sephora website describes the black as :

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black is an addictive blend of alluring violet, sensual sandalwood, and rich vanilla that strike the perfect balance between masculine and feminine.

Launched in 2007, Elizabeth and James embodies the duality of sophistication and feminine detail balanced with downtown edge and masculine tailoring. The fashion brand's contemporary-yet-timeless aesthetic offers the modern girl clothing and accessories that make stylish everyday dressing effortless.

Ashley and Mary-Kate wanted the signature fragrance for Elizabeth and James to embody the same sense of duality inherent to their partnership and the brand. The result was not one, but two blends—distinctly different, but undeniably connected.

This nourishing, indulgent body oil is enriched with argan, soybean, and moringa oils to replenish skin so it feels silky-smooth and looks beautifully radiant. Simply massage onto damp or dry skin to leave skin traced with this classic scent.

Notes:
Violet, Sandalwood, Vanilla.
Style:
Sensual. Mysterious. Warm.

Anyway so time to let you know what I think of the products. I love both the perfumes, but the black has to be my favourite, so I had to have a sniff at the black first. When you take the lid of and smell inside the bottle, it's like someone's just sprayed the Nirvana black perfume. I tried abit on and comes out a clear oil and you can just rub it on yourself. It's more like water, it's not greasy or sticky it just smells so nice.

The Sephora website describes the Nirvana white as :

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is a captivating blend of delicate peony, chic muguet, and tender musk for a feminine scent with dark sophistication.

Notes:
Peony, Muguet, Tender Musk.
Style:
Sophisticated. Feminine. Captivating.

The white is a more everyday body oil, where as I think the black smells stronger. I find a lot of perfumes I don't smell what am wearing after so long and spray more, until someone says your wearing soo much perfume and you realise you've gotten to used to the smell. I can smell the Elizabeth and James black even after hours of wearing it, so I know I don't need to top up more. The body oil has the perfume smell, but also leaves your skin feeling soft.

I would love to see an Elizabeth and James Nirvana soap. I think a soap smelling of Elizabeth and James Nirvana would smell so lush. I would totally buy it !

Here's my collection of Elizabeth and James beauty products so far :

Bloglovin

If you follow me on bloglovin you'll have probably realised all my blog posts are gone. You can still see them here on my blog though. That's because this is my first blog and I was clueless where to begin. I'd write posts and look back not happy how they looked. It wasn't really written posts, I was scared what to write in a blog, worried what people would think. It was more "this is my lipstick I got". Sometimes I was lazy and type on the blogger app and it would randomly change the font. I'd check it over in the preview, then publish from the app and it would still changed the font, so I'd go back and edit parts. I had no clue bloglovin is a copy of what you originally post. Even though I changed it bloglovin still showed the original post.

This year am a lot more happier with my blog posts. I take more time to think what am writing about, but I've never been happy with how I first started blogging.

I contacted bloglovin asking if they update certain posts, they asked if wanted to clear my feed. I thought that would be the best, a fresh start on bloglovin. You can still view all my posts here on my blog though.

Thank you to the 1072 people who follow me on bloglovin and read my posts. If you aren't following, you can follow my bloglovin over in the link section. If you don't know what bloglovin is, it's just a different way to read blogs in one place so you're not missing out if you don't have a bloglovin.

If you want me to check your blog, feel free to comment below :-)

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter

The Righteous butter is Soap and Glory's number one selling product, so I couldn't wait to try it out and find out why.

Soap and Glory website says :

Award winning body butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera. Smooth on a handful after your shower and you might swear you're wearing velvet. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance.

I took the lid of and smells like someone's just sprayed their perfume. I've never tried the Soap and Glory orginal pink fragrance it smells of a very light fragrance. It makes me want to buy it, but I have so many fragrances right now.

I can see why this is the number one selling product. It smells more formal to the other Soap and Glory products I've tried smelling fruity. I guess it depends what kind of mood you are in, if you want to smell fruit or perfume like.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream

I have my bathroom cupboard stocked up with basically ever Soap and Glory product and gave in to try all the products out than waiting until I finish one product. I loved the Sugar Crush body wash, so I knew right away I'd love the body buttercream.

Soap and Glory website says :

Soap & Glory’s must-have new moisture-extreme, re-energizing, sweet-lime scented body buttercream for supreme skin smoothing! Loaded with shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil, and a super-refreshing triple whammy of lime oil, kiwi juice water, and smoothing lime tree blossom extract, Soap & Glory’s new ultra-rich body buttercream is irresistible, really!

The tub says mouthwatering . Irresistible . Moisturising. I think that's my pet hate hearing people say mouthwatering it sounds weird, but I guess this is as it smells like you could just get a spoon and eat out the tub.

I took the lid of and you can smell the fruity smell. I've said before I'm the worst for describing smells and I hate citrus smell, but this smells so good. It's a creamy white texture, so Soap and Glory not only made it smell nice, but made it look lush too.

I used it with the Sugar Crush body wash because why not, you've got to go the whole way if you want to try Soap and Glory. It also makes a nice smelling hand cream if you dip one finger in and keeps your hands soft.

Soap and Glory Collection

It's come to my mind I actually bought all my Soap and Glory products quite a while back, when boots offered £12 of points when you spend £50. At the time all Soap and Glory products were 3 for 2, so I done a  stock up buying every product I wanted to try. In that time I've only managed to review the Sugar Crush body wash and the Foam Call body wash. I've been trying other products and the Soap and Glory body washes last forever. I never used to be able to finish a bottle of any bath or shower product, but seeing so many bloggers post their empties makes me want to do it

I gave in trying to finish the Foam Call and I've been busy trying all my other Soap and Glory products and thought of posting a review on each product I have each day ? (Maybe one day I'll manage to do a product empties)

Does anyone else have so many bath and shower products in your bathroomcupboard  you want to try out, but struggle to get through them so quick ?

Collection Galactica lip butter | Pink Rush

I picked up the Collection Galactica lip butter in the colour pink on sale last Autumn and held of using it, as I thought it looked a nice pink summery colour.

The packaging says :

Get a look out of this world!

Soft and creamy texture that leaves lips feeling moisturised.

I tried rubbing my hand to see how long lasting it is and was left with a faded pink mark. My mum asked how my hand was all red saying I'd burnt my hand ha.

It leaves your lips feeling moisturised, although not for all day, so you'd have to carry it in your bag if you were going out. I don't use lip butters a lot, but they are a perfect alternative for a lip balm.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Makeup

I'm having a blast from the past today. There's so many new Elizabeth and James (Mary-Kate and Ashley) beauty products coming out right now, which is exclusive to Sephora in America. It reminds me of the days when the Mary-Kate and Ashley brand makeup was only in America and I went crazy buying loads of it. When I was over in LA. I bought a few of each perfumes, body mists, etc. I filled my suitcase with shopping and loads of Mary-Kate and Ashley makeup, the security at the airport actually told me my suitcase was over weight. I panicked chucked stuff into my hand luggage bag not thinking about the liquids and got to the security scanner and the security woman said "mam that's a lot of liquids you have you'll need to check it in" haha. I had to run back and check in that bag. I know the Mary-Kate and Ashley perfume became available in the UK, but I'm not sure about the other stuff. There is stuff I hadn't opened, as I was scared to use it as I didn't know when I'd be back in America. I still have some of the makeup boxed away, so it made me want to dig it out.

I was so excited when the Mary-Kate and Ashley Coast to coast LA and New York perfumes came out.

LA is described as

Top notes of bergamot, bayleaves and red pepper
Middle notes of jasmine, heliotrope and almond
Base notes of patchouli and vanilla

Soho chic New York is described as

Top notes of lemon, mandarin and bergamot
Middle notes of rose, green tea and genmaich accord
Base notes of musk, heliotrope and blonde wood

I still love the smell of these and can't believe I put them away in a cupboard. I still use Mary-Kate and Ashley perfumes, though I'd like to think of it as I've moved up in the world. I now use their Elizabeth and James Nirvana .

Mary-Kate and Ashley LA style perfume had notes of flowers, tuberose, gardenia and jasmine.

I used to wear the Mary-Kate and Ashley body mist every day, since I bought so many bottles of it and it was so cheap. I'm sure there was a vanilla one aswell. I loved spraying my room with it aswell.

I was so chuffed when I found the mini fruit sprays in America, as the UK had very little of the Mary-Kate and Ashley brand. I'd never heard of them, so it was a bonus to add them to my collection of Mary-Kate and Ashley things.

They came in a pack of 4 :

Apple jelly
Frosty snowflake
Sugar plum
Candied pear

I had to buy the sparkle dust as everyone loved sparkle dust back in the day. I got in the colour pure sparkle.

Now time for the makeup I'd never opened.

The Mary-Kate and ashley illuminating mascara says wraps each lash from end to end for instant definition, full volume and an all day glossy finish.
To think this mascara was designed in their younger days, I think Mary-Kate and Ashley created a better mascara than some mascaras I've tried in the past. I'd love to see them create a mascara for their Elizabeth and James brand.

The Mary-Kate and Ashley lip color plus sparkling gloss says creamy lip color plus sparkling gloss. Wear alone or blend.

I wish I used the lip colour and sparkling gloss years ago when I got it, I love this nude brown colour.

The Mary-Kate and Ashleh sunlit bronze illuminating collection says :

Silky soft, light reflecting powder gives skin a soft, radiant glow

Bonus brush helps you blend to perfection

Bonus bronzing gloss can be applied to lips and eyes for glistening effect

I've never owned a bronzer in my life can you believe apart from this, but I do love the colour. I struggled to open the bronzing gloss, I gave up.

I bought basically every Mary-Kate and Ashley makeup product I could find back in the day, but this is all I could find boxed away.
